Below are four examples of insects you will attract if you plant the right plants in your garden. Besides enjoying the beauty of the flowers, your garden will host these flying beauties.




This is a Four-spotted Penant Dragonfly on Buttonbush. Buttonbush is a Texas Native.


This is a Bordered Patch Butterfly on Orange Zexmenia. Orange Zexmenia is a Texas Native and is on display at the Native Plant Garden outside of the SC Activities Center.



This is a Vine Sphinx Moth on Turk's Cap. Turk's Cap is a Texas Native and is on display at the Native Plant Garden outside of the SC Activities Center.



This is an Eastern Bumblebee and a Mason Wasp on Fall Obedient Plant. Fall Obedient Plant is a Texas Native and is on display at the Native Plant Garden outside of the SC Activities Center.
