About the event

You are invited to a meeting of the Living with Wildlife SIG of the Sun City Nature Club.

Tracy White from the Texas Department of Transportation will update us on the project by TxDOT to provide roosting habitat for bats when they construct new highway overpasses. Bats may be relocated when existing overpasses are torn down, but when new overpasses are constructed, TxDOT intentionally designs the new overpasses to encourage bats to roost. Learn about the history of this project and where you might see bats congregating along I-35 on a summer evening near Georgetown.

Bring your questions!

Bring your friends and neighbors who have not joined the Nature Club yet. We welcome guests.
